• Brand & Advertising Manager (Ref: SEOA5)

    This fast growing financial services business in London is looking for a Brand & Advertising Manager to be responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of the marketing strategy to drive new customer acquisition, as well as build a consistent brand image and reputation. You’ll manage their advertising and media agencies and work closely with relevant teams to deliver ATL marketing campaigns.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Translate the marketing strategy into operational marketing activity
    • Manage, implement and evaluate marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition against challenging targets, alongside building a consistent reputation for the brand
    • Day-to-day management of agencies to deliver marketing campaigns and research projects against objectives, time and budget
    • Work closely with agencies to improve the effectiveness of campaigns through a constant test and learn approach to creative and media optimisation. Create campaign analysis trackers and conduct campaign performance analysis
    • Manage weekly (or daily) marketing activity effectiveness and KPI’s – reporting back to key stakeholders as appropriate
    • Work with compliance/legal teams on approving marketing claims to be used in creative work, ensuring all relevant guidelines are adhered to
    • Keep abreast of competitor activities and define responses to these where appropriate
    • Lead market research projects and liaise with research agencies to plan and deliver these.
    • Brand guardian ensuring consistent use of the brand in line with the brand architecture
      • Ensure the Brand guide is kept up to date and relevant for current projects and campaigns
      • Work closely with key teams to ensure all internal and external collateral is produced within brand guidelines
      • Ad hoc art direction where necessary to feed back to internal or external designers
    • Work closely with relevant teams to deliver effective marketing campaigns & the communication of these campaigns; including customer facing operational teams, legal/compliance, technology teams and wider marketing team
    • Work closely with product and development teams to ensure brand collateral – photography, logo, video are produced in line with site/brand/campaign requirements
    • Work closely with PR/Social team to promote the brand in the media

    Person Required:

    • A minimum 3 years marketing experience in a fast paced environment with broad knowledge of the whole marketing mix
    • Strong agency management skills with previous experience of managing multiple marketing agencies to deliver effective marketing campaigns
    • Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships cross functionally
    • Strong design management and direction skills – preferably with experience in design or art direction
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Sound commercial acumen and analytical skills
    • Strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills
